• PLATO! Simulation of Football Stadiums, Airport Terminals, Train Stations, Museums, Office Buildings...........

Latest version of PLATO launched!

Incontrol proudly presents the release of “PLATO” (Pedestrian Logistics Analysis Tool).plato_box
Based on many years of experience with simulation and pedestrian flow studies, Incontrol has developed a special software package, called PLATO.

With PLATO users may study the effect of flows of pedestrians in infrastructures like (airport) terminals, stadiums, hospitals, museums, railway stations, pavilions etc. etc.

Pedestrian flow studies create immediate insight of pedestrian flows in either in the building (new) design stadium or in building rebuild/restructuring situations.

Architects, designers and/or planners often have questions like the following:
  • Is the design suitable to accommodate the expected nr. of visitors?
  • Is there enough space during rebuild situations to accommodate the (expected) visitors?
  • What is the expected emergency response time? I.a.w., are the visitors able to leave the building in time?
  • What is the effect on pedestrians/visitors flows when blocking certain areas within a building during rebuild situations?
  • What is the average flow of visitors given a certain exhibition layout?
  • What is the maximum nr. of visitors allowable given a certain building design layout (visitors/sq.ft)?
  • Are there enough emergency exits in my building infrastructure?
  • What should be an ideal layout of a building given a certain nr. of visitors?
  • Can we test existing emergency plans against a variety of scenarios?

With PLATO you will find the answers!
