Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation - also referred to as emulation - becomes increasingly important to ensure high software quality and short development cycles for complex automation solutions. In the research project OMSIS - On-the-fly-Migration und Sofort-Inbetriebnahme von automatisierten Systemen - (http://iai8292.inf.tu-dresden.de/omsis) the Dresden University of Technology and INCONTROL Simulation Solutions cooperated to strengthen the ENTERPRISE DYNAMICS software for HIL simulation.
INCONTROL has released Enterprise Dynamics 8.1. Customers with a valid maintenance and support agreement will be able to download this release from our support site.
In ED 8.1 you will find a lot of user comments implemented. Our JIRA support system has played an important role in defining the developments and we implemented more than 180 JIRA issues in the release of ED 8.1. Our simulation engine contains a lot of new features and we developed new atoms for the Logistics library.
