ED Training - Training Courses & Workshops

To make a jump-start with simulation with your Enterprise Dynamics software, your teaching course or to know more about the benefits of simulation, we recommend you to participate in one of our workshops or training courses. We have developed several training courses, which provide you with the knowledge to correctly build, apply and analyze simulation models. We offer training both for starting and advanced users.

Basic Training (3 days)

The Enterprise Dynamics Basic Training is a three-day course intended for everyone who is going to work with our software. In this course, you will learn how to operate the software, build models using the prebuild modeling objects, run simulations, generate reports, display graphs and present your models using the 3D animation. Also you will have a basic understanding of the 4DScript programming language that powers Enterprise Dynamics.

Advanced Training (2 days)

The Enterprise Dynamics Advanced Training is a two day course that focuses at atom construction through the use of the Atom Editor and the 4DScript coding language. It starts with a quick recapitulation of topics such as atom referencing. After that a number of example atoms are build from scratch teaching participants how to create the atom's functionality its editing interface and its 2D/3D appearance. Depending on the time optional topics such as: building your own user interface with the GUI builder, debugging, 3D and virtual reality, building your own applications, i.e., library construction as well as the files required to set up customized simulation applications and ActiveX can be treated.

Features Workshop (1 day)

After the release of the new version a workshop Features of Enterprise Dynamics 8.2 (1 day) is an excellent way to be in front.

Workshop ED Visualization (1 day)

During the Visualization Workshop you will learn how to customize the animation of models and atoms. Both 2D and Virtual Reality (3D) animation are covered. You will also learn how to use CAD images as a background and how to record a movie of your simulation model.

Workshop Logistic Simulation (1 day, in Dutch)

For people who have heard about simulation and want to know the benefits for their business we developed the introduction workshop Logistics Simulation.

Practical Information

Our Training Center is in Utrecht, the Netherlands. But with more participants of one company or the need of a custom-made solution, it might be profitable if we come to you. To discuss the possibilities of a different location or an In-house training, please contact us. You can also contact us to discuss the possibility to schedule a different date. All courses and workshops are given in English, unless otherwise stated.
