Logatec will work as an Authorized Reseller for ED Software Products in The Netherlands. The main focus of Logatec is the product ED Warehouse.

Logatec started as a consultancy company in 2009 and provides a knowledge platform for the Logistics Industry with a focus on Strategic Management and Warehousing Excellence. Founded by Jos Folkers with almost 20 years experience in an international Materials Handling environment, the key objectives are:

• To build a Center of Excellence with knowledge and information about effective and economic logistic solutions
• To provide effective and competitive solutions in close cooperation with suppliers of logistics systems, products and services
• To support companies and users in their search for cost efficient logistic solutions and suppliers as well as the implementing and validation of chosen solutions

A range of consultancy services are available:

 Dynamic Simulations of warehouses, production, handling & storage areas with the aim to check efficiency and propose and implement improvement processes.

• Layout planning of (new) warehouses, including routing, flows, equipment
• Data analysis, calculation and development of cost efficient processes, systems, warehouse layout and required MHE/FTE
• Propose Materials Handling Equipment (warehouse/counter balance trucks, racking systems, batteries/chargers) based on successful PMC’s
• Manage suppliers selection and procurement process

Logatec uses the software application Warehouse Manager^® which is specifically developed to conduct Dynamic Simulations in a warehouse environment.

The software makes it possible to analyze the efficiency of an existing warehouse, is able to simulate a number of different scenario’s and supports the planning of green field sites.
