INCONTROL and NCS4 release SportEvac 2.0: Training, Operations and Planning software for venues
SportEvac 2.0 provides those responsible for venue and event security, a software system to aid in their “what-if” scenario management, daily operations and staff training. INCONTROL and NCS4 are very proud to announce that this new product will be released on the fourth annual National Sports Safety and Security Conference and Exhibition on July 16-18 at Walt Disney World, Florida.
Together with NCS4 (National Center for Spectator Sport Safety & Security), INCONTROL developed this all-embracing software system that enhances the user situational knowledge to optimize their decision-making capabilities of preparedness, response and assessment. Users will be better prepared to mitigate, respond and recover from both natural and/or man-made crises and enhance daily operations. While using SportEvac 2.0, venue & event managers, decision & policy makers, as well as the emergency response team can achieve goals, for example: ensure the safety of venue visitors, optimize preparedness by performing “what-if” scenario analysis in a virtual environment, decrease evacuation times, and create situational awareness and more.
All major (sporting) event organizers face great challenges in the development and enhancement of effective emergency management capabilities. Many (sports) venues and event organizations have increased security preparedness, enhanced response capabilities and developed emergency plans in recent years. However, difficulty remains in preparing and training for the wide variety of emergencies that cannot be rehearsed in real life. To help overcome these challenges, INCONTROL and NCS4 have developed SportEvac 2.0.
The conference where SportEvac 2.0 will be released is organized by NCS4 and will focus solely on the sports safety and security industry. This year’s conference theme is centered around emphasizing the need to share global knowledge and perspectives.
